The Extension and Outreach Department at the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library allows the Library to come to you! For groups who can't make it to the Library, such as persons with disabilities, home-bound, or those who live in nursing homes or assisted living facilities, our Extension and Outreach Manager Beth Gottfried makes sure you have all the Library materials you need! In addition to making those important deliveries, she gives presentations at these facilities that are designed to rekindle memories and encourage sharing about bygone days, as well as entertain and educate.
Even though Beth hasn't been able to visit these facilities the last few months, we want to continue to provide our senior population with the entertaining and educational presentations they get from Beth!
This month, the theme is Gardening, Nature and Terrariums. The benefits of gardening go beyond just growing your own food. This month, Beth will talk about those benefits, as well as the importance of fresh air. Lastly, Beth, with the help of a few special assistants, will show you how to make your very own terrarium!
