Don’t Cut Ohio Libraries!
WE NEED YOUR HELP! Tell the Ohio House of Representatives: Don’t cut Ohio libraries!
The Ohio House of Representative’s biennial budget proposal eliminates the Public Library Fund and cuts funding to Ohio libraries by $100 million over the Governor’s plan. If passed, this will result in a reduction of library services and materials.
We rely on the Public Library Fund for:
books, movies, and music for all ages
Special programs for all ages
Public computers and internet access
and SO MUCH MORE!
What you can do to help RIGHT NOW:
Call or email Representative Gary Click AND Ohio House Speaker Matt Huffman with the following message:
“Don’t cut my Library.”
“Restore the PLF to the 1.75% listed in the Governor’s proposal.”
Give a personal testimony about the ways the Library has impacted your life and what you love about the Library.
