Adult Summer Reading

Summer Reading is for adults too! Participants will track the number of books read on reading logs that can be picked up at the Library or printed from the button below. Reading or listening to books or magazines will earn prize entries. Each entry will earn the reader a chance to win one of three grand prizes, as well as gift certificates from local businesses.

New this summer is our exciting “Bookopoly” game, where you will roll the dice to move along the board and complete the activities found on the space you land! Each completed space on your game board will earn you an additional prize entry!

When you pick up your reading log and Bookopoly game board, you will also receive a free book (thanks to Pan Yan Bookstore) and a bookmark (designed by the winners of our Bookmark Design Contest in April).

All reading logs must be turned in by the end of the day on Thursday, July 31! Once you turn in your reading logs, you will receive your choice of 3D printed bookmark or T-SPL branded sunglasses, and 1 free movie pass from Seneca Starvue!

Do you have unfinished craft projects lying around your house? Maybe you want to finally finish your project. Or maybe you’re ready to throw in the towel and call it quits. Or MAYBE you think “I don’t have ENOUGH unfinished craft projects! Let’s add more!” At our Craft Supplies Swap and Craft Day, we have something for everyone!

The Art of Trivia: An Adult Trivia Contest

Test your knowledge of different types of artistic expressions during our adult trivia contest! Register your team of up to 4 people by calling the Library at 419-447-3751.

Outreach Summer Reading

The Library’s Extension and Outreach Services Department will bring the summer reading program to local nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and homebound patrons again this year. For every book read, seniors will be entered to win a prize.
